Mark Screbbie landing on a 'kilt' jump, May/June 1975. The kilt was worn in the traditional manner, with gravel rash was experienced on the landing. Mark was one of several US navy sailors who were on shore leave from the U.S.S.Canopus, based in the Holy Loch. (Others being John Maliska, Mark Rials, and Tommy Beard)

Tommy Beard and Ed Opperman on board USS Canopus displaying their SPC badges. Tommy and Ed were some of the US servicemen stationed on the Canopus at the Holy Loch who would travel to the club for a weekend of parachuting. Tommy and Ed's wives came from Auchterarder and Aberuthven respectively, but all now live in the USA.
