G-BAGV

In 1981 the club received  a grant for the purchase of their first aircraft.
Cessna 206 G-BAGV ,which had been in use by the club already, was purchased and 75% of the cost was covered by the Scottish Sports Council.
In the picture above Trevor Newberry celebrates the grant with champagne bottle, whilst club members and Sports Council officials look on.
